LODGING & BOARDING

We invite you to call ahead to tour our facility…this gives you time to ask questions and become familiar with Purr’n Pooch and our requirements. Reservations are advised and during the holidays are required for all of our services… grooming, daycare, play sessions, training, transportation, massage therapy & pet sitting. You may want to schedule a possible play session (daycare) to better acquaint your pet to Purr’n Pooch in advance of his/her initial stay.

Tips for your pet’s enjoyable and stress-free visit to Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts

THE BIG DAY

  1. The day of arrival, please try to check-in by 3pm so we may have the opportunity to evaluate and give personal time with your pet prior to closing hours. Allow yourself ample time to fill out the proper paperwork.
  2. Make the check-in time a happy time. Pets can often sense our anxieties and will equate check-in as a negative action rather than a positive fun time.
  3. We supply pets with our house cuisine, you may choose to provide your own food (at no additional charge), as long as each meals serving size is prepared in a separate baggie with your pets name on it for the entire length of the stay. Try not to feed your pet a meal prior to check-in. Pack the treats and allow us to give them to your pet when your pet is settled and comfortable.

YOUR PET’S RETURN HOME

After picking up your pet, please, DO NOT offer food or water right away. Most pets are very excited to return home and will gulp water or engulf food. This could trigger a digestive upset…diarrhea or vomiting. If the pet appears thirsty, offer a few ice cubes in a bowl.

Contact us with any questions about your pet’s stay, we will be happy to let you know in detail how the pet adjusted. We are here to provide the most enjoyable stay for one of the most important living beings in your life…your pet.

BOARDING CHECK-IN TIME:
Opening Hours – 3 pm
BOARDING CHECK-OUT TIME:
Monday-Saturday: Opening Hours – 11 am & Sunday: 10am-11am
Pets leaving after 11 a.m. will be charged an additional one (1) night’s boarding stay unless scheduled for grooming (hair cut) the day of check-out.
