Soon after creating Purr’n Pooch in Wall Township in 1970, a second facility was established in Tinton Falls, NJ. By concentrating on positive attitude reinforcement and social interaction, Dick established leash-free indoor and outdoor environments that promoted dog socialization for stress reduction and healthier living. This concept was the catalyst for “Doggie Daycare” across the nation.
Today, Tinton Falls boasts modern amenities and services with more than 20 outdoor playgrounds lined with top-of-the-line anti-microbial artificial turf, water park and natural rock pool, luxury dog and cat suites (boasting televisions, leather sofas and porcelain tiles) and a spacious indoor playroom and training hall. Cats also enjoy our cattery complete with a 22-foot waterfall, rock wall for climbing and playing, windows for perching and tons of natural light.
Wall Township
Our newly renovated Wall Township Pet Resort was established in 1970 as the first, modern enclosed facility with a controlled environment in the nation.
Today, Dick continues to uniquely design and provide the best possible environment for Purr’n Pooch’s pet friends. With your pets’ health and happiness in mind, our new additions offer pups and cats more freedom to roam, play or just relax; added comfort and pet services; and protection from airborne viruses, allergens, dust and dander with a state-of-the-art ventilation and air purification system.
Dogs enjoy our expanded 55 inside and outdoor playgrounds lined with top-of-the-line anti-microbial artificial turf, water park and natural rock pool, an indoor aquatic center and spa, luxury dog suites (boasting televisions, leather sofas, porcelain tiles and more), a spacious indoor playroom and training hall. Cats purr for our new “Jungle Room” Cattery featuring a lavish and calming waterfall and play area. Our innovative cattery was personally designed by Dick Palazzo to house and entertain even the most finicky of cats. Your pets will also truly “sparkle and shine” when they visit our new, cutting edge grooming salon and spa.
