Fun in the Sun with Your Pets in Monmouth County

PNP-Summer-Contest-Winners
At Purr’n Pooch, we know that summer is a busy time for pets and people alike. When your pets are not at home having fun in the sun with you, they’re enjoying the long list of summer activities here at Purr’n Pooch.
The freshwater pools let pets splash and play while staying cool, and the indoor pool at our Wall location lets your pet get aquatic exercise. After a long day of swimming, pups can relax in the shade at our playground or in the air-conditioned suites.
KONG® toys are also a big hit in the hot summer months with the pooches, especially when we fill them with frozen peanut butter and other treats! And the kitties are happily snoozing in the sun near the windows and playing on the jungle gym, rock walls and waterfalls.
Purr’n Pooch always celebrates birthdays and other special occasions with private and monthly parties, featuring Jodes Happy Tail yogurt treats for dessert! Pets that come in for daycare on Tuesdays can participate in Play ‘N Games –  fun activities centered around agility, puzzles, and scent work. There is an additional $35 fee for this service. And on Saturdays, we have our agility classes, which take place both inside and out.
Hurry, and book your pet’s summer fun with us! Our pools are open through mid-September and sometimes longer depending on the weather. Call us in Tinton Falls at 732-842-4949 or in Wall at 732-528-8100.
But when your pet isn’t hanging with us, make sure to take them out on the town to any of the pet friendly events in Monmouth County, NJ!
Wonder Bar Yappy Hour
Mom and Dad can cool off this summer with a cold drink while doggies get to romp and play in a safe, fenced in area at Yappy Hour at the Wonder Bar, 5th & Ocean Aves. in Asbury Park, NJ. The fenced-in area is a place where dogs and owners can spend time getting used to Yappy Hour. Dogs must be neutered and have up-to-date rabies tag or dog license. Choke, prong and spike collars are not permitted, nor are toys or dog food. Owners are expected to pick up after their dogs. There is dog security at all times to keep human and canine guests safe and comfy. The Yappy Hour deck is restricted to customers 21 and over.
