For over 45 years Purr’n Pooch has had the privilege of caring for millions of pets. Today, our guests, both cats and dogs, visit us for dozens of services including daycare, boarding, grooming, massage, aquatic exercise, and training.
When we started out, we had one location in Wall, NJ and pet care services were thought of very differently. Let’s just say dog daycare wasn’t the service that it has become today. People brought their dogs to kennels while they vacationed, where they would be walked and fed, then placed back in cages. This was an accepted practice at the time by both pet owners and industry leaders.
As a trainer and behavioralist, I knew our dogs needed more and enjoyed opening up Purr’n Pooch’s kennel doors for them to play in a supervised, leash-free environment. They thrived and had a blast while staying with us. Today, more than 45 years later, I experience the same joy when I step into our over 50 playgrounds where our dogs romp and play.
It’s heartwarming for me to see how through the years pets have taken greater roles in our lives. They bring us great joy. In my family, we have shared the love of many, some who are still with us today and others whose spirits continue to live in our hearts.

2ND ANNUAL MILITARY WORKING DOG TEAM DRIVE & LETTER WRITING DAY
Saturday, January 24 ~ 2:30 p.m.
The Purr’n Pooch Foundation for Animals is hosting its annual collection drive for U.S. Military Working Dog Teams who have been deployed to the Middle East. We will also host a volunteer day at Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts in Tinton Falls for businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals who would like to participate in the letter writing and packaging of the shipments.

PUPPY BOWL AT PURR’N POOCH

Are you ready for some football? Super Bowl XLIX is around the corner! Every year we host a Puppy Bowl game for daycare and boarding dogs. They enjoy friendly football games with staff and friends on our playgrounds and tail-wagging, tailgating festivities. Dress your pup in your favorite team jersey and cheer on the players.
